2024

The trails of ‘Selinus‘ were invaded, in 600BC, by the Greeks and their slaves who built and dedicated the temple to Apollo’s son, Zeus, god of athletic youth. In 450BC Hannibal conquered the city.

Concordia, Heracles, Zeus and other Greek Gods of the ancient Magna Grecia were ghosted through these hills for centuries. Following these trails will leave you “breathless”.

The Event

Ultra Trail Du Temple was developed in the classic trail running fashion: push your limits outdoor loving the planet. These trails will take you to the spectacular hills where mythology and history fused together; from the Greek Gods to the German army and the Muslim empire whilst following some of the most stunning Italian coast line.
